Tomorrow, Ill be heading to Zimbabwe to be part of a ten days for Jesus project - We will be planting Jesus, taking the good news, and starting Discovery Bible studies. Ill be trying to update this blog from my phone on the road….stay tuned!!

There was a major fire in Masiphumelele that burnt about 1500 houses, more than 5000 people were left homeless and traumatised. I was asked to coordinate the many relief agencies, organisations and churches who were engaged in the relief  effort in response to the fire.

We mourned with the people, and cried with them. The pain they endured was tremendous and indescribable. Some of the people affected were the friends that we have been ministering with.

During the aftermath of the fire, I was amazed by the abundant provision from God, He knew each one’s personal need, and he provided exactly what they required.

Donations of foods, clothes, furniture, building materials and man power. There was even a major donation of materials from the set of a Denzel Washington movie being shot nearby. My job was to head up coordinating distribution of all of that.
